Sheket · Pest control for homes & businesses
They were here
before you walked in.
Move the flashlight. See who else lives here.
You found them all. Notice something? Not everything hiding in the dark is an enemy.
Understand first. Treat second.
Before you spray, know what you're treating.
We're a pest control business. Still, most of this page isn't trying to sell you anything.
Some things hiding at home are pests. Some are protected by Israeli law. Some are helping you without your knowing it. Knowing the difference means you don't spray needlessly.
Here you'll find an identification guide, useful Israeli contact numbers to save, and a tip that changes each month.

Field guide
Friend or pest?
Flip a card to see what to do. Sometimes the answer is that you don't need a pest control visit at all.
But some things are.
Caution
More than a nuisance.
A real danger.
Some creatures in homes and yards can cause harm. Select one to learn where it may be found and what to do.
Illustrations cannot confirm a species. Keep your distance; do not approach an animal to identify it.

It happened. Take a breath.
Bites & stings
You've been stung. What now?
Choose what stung you. The first rule is the same: trouble breathing, facial swelling, or dizziness means calling emergency services immediately. In Israel, call 101.

They've left. But left something behind.

Clues from droppings
Found dark pellets in a drawer or behind the refrigerator? Size can offer a clue, but it isn't enough for certain identification. Move the slider to the size you found.
Cleaning droppings safely
- Don't sweep or vacuum. That can send dust from droppings into the air.
- Gloves and ventilation.Open doors and windows for 30 minutes and leave the area while it airs out. Then put on gloves.
- Wet with disinfectant.Thoroughly wet with disinfectant and wait 5 minutes, or the contact time stated on the product label.
- Pick up with paper towels and place in a sealed bag. Then wipe the surface again.
- Wash your hands.Wash gloves before removing them, then wash your hands with soap and water.
For heavy infestations, seek professional cleanup guidance.

The numbers you need
when you need them
Israeli official services and volunteer organizations. They're independent of us. That's the point.
Every month, the house wakes up differently.
This month at home
—
Illustrative demo data, not a local forecast. Pests may appear in other months, too.
If you're doing it yourself, do it properly.
Using a pesticide yourself?
Four ground rules
We'd rather you do it correctly than have to call us afterward.
Read the label
It specifies the amount, location, and waiting time. More product doesn't work better.
Keep children and pets away
During and after application, follow the label. Ask about aquarium precautions; a cover alone may not be enough.
Don't mix products
Never combine two pesticides, or mix them with cleaning products.
Original container. High and locked.
Never in a drink bottle. Store in a high, locked cabinet away from food.
Why are we telling you all this?
Someone who knows the difference between a bat and a roach calls pest control when it's actually needed.
That's why this page gives before it asks. A guide, contact numbers, a tip for each month. No pop-up form and no "leave your details" around every corner.
When you do need pest control, you'll remember who didn't rush to sell you something. That's the whole idea.
And now, if you'd like.
When you do need us
Identify.
Treat.
Breathe easy.
We inspect the property, look for pest activity and entry points, and explain our findings before treatment. Gel and bait instead of broad spraying when suitable. A written report and warranty.
Contact
You'll speak with a person.
No switchboard and no "press 1". A technician answers, asks a few questions, and tells you honestly whether a visit is needed.
